Jörg Sperling returns to Target Partners as Venture Partner

Munich, July 10, 2019: VC Target Partners today welcomed Jörg Sperling back to the firm part-time as a Venture Partner after having been in the same role between 2007 and 2009. He focuses on deep tech and B2B software.

Jörg has been active in leading roles in the Private Equity and VC industry for almost two decades. His track record includes successful exits via NASDAQ IPOs and LSE listings in addition to numerous trade sales. Before returning to Munich in 2003, he was active as a VC in Silicon Valley (Ridgewood Capital and Infineon Ventures).

Jörg has also worked in leading global sales roles for several semiconductor companies in Europe and the US. Earlier, Jörg worked as a researcher in the field of semiconductors at the Technion in Israel and at AT&T Bell Laboratories in the USA. Jörg has a degree in Electrical Engineering from RWTH Aachen.
