Cube Optics AG develops, manufactures and markets miniaturized fiber-optical components which are used in optical data and telecom communication systems. Cube uses a unique and proprietary manufacturing process which results in extremely small and dense Wavelength Division Multiplexing (WDM) optical devices. Cube operates its own manufacturing lines in Germany and China. The latest advances combine active and passive components such as laser diodes, photodiode detectors and specialized integrated circuits. These ultra-miniature Transmit & Receive (TOSA and ROSA) devices address next generation high speed 40Gb/s and 100Gb/s transceiver applications. Customers include most major optical transceiver companies in Europe, USA and Far East. Target Partners sold its stake in the company to Uber + Suhner in 2014.
